Lesson Focus: God Anticipates Your Needs and Answers Pryer

1.Read: Isaiah 65:24
I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!

2.Studying Isaiah 65:24
The Spirit searches all things, the deep things of God and also the deep things with God’s children. There is no need we will have, no situation we will encounter that the Spirit has not already searched out, identified, and God has not already prepared or supplied what we will need. God promises to be with us in trouble we didn’t even know was coming, promises to rescue us from terrible situations and protect us from those things he saw coming (Psalm 91:15).
Consider the things you encounter in your day or week that you had no way of knowing was going to arise or be on your life-plate, you may feel ill prepared or taken aback but God has already prepared for it and is prepared to guide you through it: a medical diagnosis that rocks you, a deep loss that shatters your stability, sudden unemployment, a breakup you didn’t see coming, a child that gets mixed up with the wrong crowd… Every day some event or situation shakes and surprises us but God is not surprised or unprepared. The nature of God as a loving, caring Father is not only to meet the needs of his children, but to anticipate their needs from day to day. What God has planned or prepared for people who love him is beyond our knowledge, intellect or imagination. Because God has prepared the answers or solutions in advance we can confidently turn to him and put our trust in him. When we anticipate the unknown future it leaves us feeling anxious or fretting but when God looks at our day or future he goes ahead of us, anticipates our needs and supplies whatever we need.

3.Meditating on Isaiah 65:24
As you meditate on Isaiah 65:24 consider the power of God’s promise for you personally. Meditating on Isaiah’s words can bring peace of mind and confidence for living boldly.

4.Praying Isaiah 65:24
Lord, before we even call to you, you have the answer or solution all worked out. Even while we are still talking, mulling over, or discussing our need you have already made plans. Thank you for anticipating every need we have and for answering our prayers even before we pray them. Amen
