You’re Not a Spiritual Pipsqueak!

Put on the full armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day. (Ephesians 6:13, ESV)

A Pipsqueak is someone who is not considered to have much power or strength. A lightweight. If you’ve read C.S. Lewis’ “The Screwtape Letters”, then you know as Satan trains the devil and spiritual forces who operate in this world, he instructs them on how to be victorious in the lives of all people, but especially how to impact negatively, how to establish strongholds and bring defeat to the lives of God’s people, and those who put their faith in Christ. It’s apparent he considers us to be spiritual pipsqueaks. But, if you not only become a student of the Bible, a follower of Christ, a person of faith, but a true believer of the promises of God recorded in the Scriptures, and begin to live under their transformative power,   you will not be a spiritual pushover nor a spiritual pipsqueak but will have standing and staying power. The devil, nor any spiritual force will not expect your ability to persevere, endure, witness, stand firm or stand some more. He will come in expecting to establish strongholds, cause distress, turn your world and life upside down, but he will not be prepared for you to withstand or find your strength in the name of the one you serve and know.

Yes, it’s true without Jesus, we are nothing but pushovers and pipsqueaks but with him and putting full trust in him and the power of his word, we are neither spiritual pushovers, or pipsqueaks. Let’s Pray,

Let us always surprise the wicked one who expects us to fold and be outdone and overcome by his strategies, by standing firm and holding fast to the One we know and who covers us, taking us from pushovers and pipsqueaks to spiritual powerhouses, victorious in all things. Amen
