God’s Rewards Program

He is a rewarder of those who seek him. (Hebrews 11:6, NKJV)

Just about every place has a rewards program now. Some of them pay off big time and are worth signing up for. When we think about it there are rewards connected to just about everything. Rewards for shopping in certain places, rewards for dining in particular restaurants, but also rewards for studying hard, resulting in high marks or having a command of the subject or area of concentration, rewards for following a well balanced diet or exercise routine, resulting in both inner health and strength. Rewards for doing what is right and making good choices which result in some level of satisfaction or prosperity.

God rewards us also. We know there is that ultimate reward of eternal life in heaven once this life is complete because we have believed in and confessed Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior during our earthly life. And that is one we can eagerly look forward to, but God’s rewards are not only for us later, in heaven, but now while we are living. God’s rewards reach into, impact and alter our every day life; right now. He rewards can be experiencing his presence and glory, we may experience them through an intimate relationship with him, which also translates to having understanding, divine peace, joy, strength, being sustained by him, experiencing the fulfillment of his promises and opening up of the mind.

All earthly reward’s programs pay off as long as we are on earth but God’s rewards pay now and keep paying into our future and for all eternity. Let’s Pray

Dear God, thank you for those rewards you have reserved especially for those who love you now. Amen
