It’s So Easy to Please Him!

You will find that I am gentle, humble, easy to please. (Matthew 11:29, TPT)

What do you know about your Savior? What have you thought about him? Have you considered his refreshing gentle ways and humble personality? What about the fact that he is truly easy to please? Have you experienced his gentleness toward you personally? What about his humble spirit and personality that we see played out over and over in the Gospels but also regarding how he deals with you? Have you been refreshed that he does not have a demanding, pushy, overbearing personality or ways? The Savior is truly refreshing in this way especially since we can encounter overbearing, pushy, obstinate people all the time that just seem to strip the joy or delight out of anything at all.

Because the Savior is easy to please—after all he only requires our devotion—we are not overly burdened with rules and laws—he fulfilled these on the Cross of Calvary. And he is not like those who do nothing but pile more rules and laws on our backs and shoulders; weighing us down even more than this life can do. Our gentle, humble loving, compassionate, considerate, all-giving, forgiving Savior only looks to be praised and that we would love him with all our heart, and soul, and mind.  And because he is so easy to love that also makes him easy to please. Let’s Pray

Dear God, what can we say about the Savior Servant you sent to us, except he is truly easy to please! And how you loved and must love us still to send him to us as our gift from heaven. May we respond to his love with love. amen
